Are We There Yet?

So I am sitting here in Missouri.  Why is that important? It is important because it takes 10-12 hours each time to get to Missouri.  I don't like traveling. It just drains you. It has nothing to with family or friends. I love seeing family and friends. What I don't understand is why anyone hasn't invented a way to transport yourself faster than the current options? Life would be so much more enjoyable if you were able to blink and be where you want to be.  It would be so great to tell family that you will be there to see them and bam you are there. So much more enjoyable. Or at least a faster train. Something that can go 179984 miles per hour. Just something.  10 hours in a car is just too long.  My knees hurt.
