I hate the Sun. A confession.

I don't like the sun. Right now it is too hot. It is windy, but wind is fine. But the Sun is not appealing to me.  If I had my choice, the Sun would be gone. It is the enemy to me.  Cold, cloudy, windy, that is the weather for me.  Weather that is cold enough that normal, weak people need pants and a jacket but tough manly people like me can still wear shorts and a t-shirt.  They say the Earth and everything on it would die if there was no Sun. That is fine, just keep the Sun out of sight. Let it come through between the hours of 6-10 a.m. Then go back to where it goes when it's cloudy and cold.  Give me just enough Sun to keep things alive. That is all.  Not a second more.  They also say depression comes with no sunlight. So you're telling me that no one in history has ever been depressed if they live in a place where sunlight shines? And if you live in a place where there is little sunlight like Alaska, Portland or my mind then everyone there is depressed? Sounds like a conspiracy put together by Sun lovers.  Sun lovers are strange people. Going to the beach and to parks and go hiking.  Who does these things?   Dark, cold, rainy, snowy, windy. That is the weather for me.
