Ways to Greet People

Hello.  That is the most common way we greet people. But let's look at other ways that we can greet each other.  Hey, Yo What's up?, How you doin', Greetings, Good morning, Good afternoon, Good night, How goes it?, Hi, It's you!, Where you been?,  How did that happen?  And those are just some of the vocal greetings. Let us look at some physical greetings.

The Handshake, the Hug, the Bear Hug, the one hand and one arm hug, the side hug, the don't touch me I'm sick greeting, the high five, the fist pump, the jump in the and turn around hitting our butt greeting, the forearm smash, the NOD. Oh yea, the NOD is the best. Stare at each other, don't say a word, look deep into their eyes, a short NOD. Does the trick each time.

So challenge yourself this. Keep track of all the ways that you greet someone in a week.  Is there one that is more prominent? Do you greet your family different than you greet your boss? What physical ways do you greet people? Are you a hugger? A hand shaker? Fist bumper? Have you mastered the NOD? Or maybe you just don't like people to touch you at all. OR even talk to you. In that case I don't know how you would greet someone.
