Mario Kart Rage and your writing.

Anger can come from many things.  For me right my anger is not coming from my writing or even an injustice in the world. It is come from one thing: Mario Kart. I cannot begin to describe to you how frustrating it is to be close to winning a race, right there at the finish, just to get hit by a red turtle shell!!! Then in a span of 3 seconds you go from 1st to 6th and limp over the finish line. So much rage!!! RAGE!!!!!! There are many problems in this world and many other things that can cause a person anger but this one is at the top of the list right now.  So how does this relate to writing? How can an author reading this find any tips from this? It is simple. So many times you have a great story going. Or you have a real intense scene playing out and you get right to the end and BAM! You can't finish it. Or the finish you have is not what you are hoping for. I have been struggling with the ending to one of my picture books for months now. I have an ok ending, it is funny to some but still isn't perfect. You have to keep striving to write the best. Don't release something out into the world until you are sold on it 100%. Don't be discouraged by having a great race and then you get hit with that red turtle shell. Keep writing. Stupid Mario Kart. Makes me so angry!
